Overall, they are unbeaten in 14 Grand Slam doubles finals together.
Their most recent Wimbledon win in 2016 was the last time either Serena or Venus appeared in the ladies’ doubles at the event.
Meanwhile, Serena is fresh from appearing at Queen’s alongside Victoria Mboko.
It marked the 44-year-old’s first competitive action since retiring in 2022.
She will now be aiming to become the first wildcard champion at Wimbledon for 14 years.

Chwalinska earns spot
Chwalinska has also been rewarded for her stunning run to the final at Roland Garros with a spot in the main draw of the ladies’ singles.

However, she had not been guaranteed a place in the Wimbledon main draw due to the tournament’s rules.
The six-week cut-off for top 104 entrants comes prior to the French Open, at which point Chwalinska was ranked 114th in the world.
As a result, she would have needed to come through qualifying without a wildcard despite being ranked high enough to be seeded.
The gentlemen’s and ladies’ singles main draw consists of 128 players, with the top 104 players in the world at the cut-off joined by 16 qualifiers and eight wildcards.

Alongside Chwalinska, the remaining six ladies’ singles wildcards to be confirmed were all British.
