We have a busy day’s racing on Tuesday with action from Ffos Las, Newbury and Newton Abbot, live on Sky Sports Racing

7.00 Newbury – Creative Queen, Starlight Sami and Signcastle City feature

The Venture Security Handicap headlines Newbury’s card at 7pm with 16 going to post.

Signcastle City bounced back to form from a reduced mark last time out in a competitive handicap at York, where he was only beaten late on after bursting to the front. The Richard Hannon-trained gelding remains on a good mark and the drop in class coupled with this race set-up can only strengthen his chances.

White Ladder and Starlight Sami should hold strong claims having progressed well from two to three with the latter getting the better of the former at Salisbury when staying on well to beat next time out winner Swiped.

The unexposed William Haggas-trained Wathnan filly Creative Queen took a big step forward in first time blinkers on softer ground last time at Yarmouth and makes her handicap debut on a potentially lenient mark.

3.30 Ffos Las – Progressive English Time bids to break maiden tag

Half-brother to French 2000 Guineas winner Marhaba Ya Sanafi, English Time bids to break his maiden tag as he headlines a field of nine for this Vibe Recruit Maiden Stakes at 3.30pm.

Two eye-catching runs behind the rapidly improving Extremely Zain and Juddmonte’s well-bred Shipbourne should have given English time the much-needed experience to finally get off the mark, and his imposing physical stature means he has the scope to go on to bigger things.

Foxy Night and West Byfleet bring a decent level of form to the race but could lack the potential of English Time.

6.45 Newton Abbot – Skelton’s Coumeenoole faces unbeaten Outmaster

It seems like a two-horse race between Dan Skelton’s Coumeenoole and Paul Nicholls’ Outmaster in The Happy Birthday June O’Dwyer Novices’ Hurdle at 6.45pm.

The Blind Squirrels-owned Coumeenoole bounced back to form for his new stable when part of his owners’ well-supported treble back in March. He has not looked back since, and landed another easy win earlier in the month at Uttoxeter, eased down after the last hurdle.

Outmaster receives five pounds from Coumeenoole and was very impressive on debut when landing a maiden hurdle by 30 lengths eased down.

Although Outmaster remains completely unexposed, Coumeenoole‘s high standard and invaluable racecourse experience will make him tough to beat for the in-form Skeltons yard.

6.10 Newton AbbotSudbury Hill, a half-brother to Group One-winner Champers Elysees, bids to go one better than hurdles debut.

6.25 Newbury – Karl Burke’s debut winner Anad takes on a small field for a big pot in a fillies’ Novice contest.

8.05 Newbury Taritino faces four rivals in his bid for successive wins.
