The 39-year-old met fans on Tuesday before she collapsed to the ground and had to undergo CPR on the track.

Her pulse had to be restarted, with medical staff said to have applied an automated external defibrillator.

She was then taken to hospital and is now receiving medical care.

A statement from event organiser Sir Walter Running read: “We are incredibly grateful to the individuals who responded immediately, as well as EMS and the medical professionals who handled the situation with such care, urgency, and professionalism.

“Jenny is receiving excellent medical care, and our thoughts are with her and her family during this time.

“We are also thankful to everyone who has reached out with concern and support.

“We ask that you continue to keep Jenny and her family in your prayers as we all hope for the very best.”

A photographer at the event, John Ruggero, also posted on Instagram about the ‘scary’ incident that occurred earlier this week.
