An emotional Mohamed Salah showed his appreciation to the Anfield faithful for the final time as a player.
The Egyptian legend made his 442nd and last Reds appearance on Sunday in their 1-1 Premier League draw against Brentford.

“I think I cried more [today] than in my whole life. I’m not really an emotional guy,” he told Sky Sports.
Salah added: “I look back and wonder if I would have wanted more than I achieved. Not really. We won it all. We see the love from the fans and this is the most important thing for me.
“I will be far away from here. I will be emotional every time. I hope the team stays in the position, fighting for everything.”

Salah ensured he capped off his dream Liverpool spell with a historic contribution against Brentford.
He teed up Curtis Jones for the opener with a lovely cross from the right hit on the outside of his boot.
The assist was his 123rd across all competitions for Liverpool, and 93rd in the Premier League.
It means Salah has the most league assists in the club’s history, having overtaken fellow legend Steven Gerrard in his final outing.
Salah’s next club isn’t yet known but he has interest from teams in Saudi Arabia and MLS, as well as those in Europe.

The Scotland international made 378 appearances for the Reds and won nine trophies after signing from Hull City in 2017.
Like Salah, Robertson started against Brentford and was given a standing ovation when substituted in the second half.
Both players were crucial to their two Premier League title successes, as well as their Champions League triumph in 2019.
Robertson looks set to remain in the Premier League next season as Tottenham Hotspur reached a verbal agreement over a deal.
