However, Carlos Alcaraz won’t be claiming any of that with the Spaniard ruled out through injury, meaning he can’t defend his trophy.

But Coco Gauff will be there to try and make it back-to-back Women’s Singles titles on the clay of Roland Garros.

French Open 2026: Prize money

As opposed to 2025, there is a total prize pot ÂŁ53.7million on offer.

This is up by nearly ÂŁ6m from last year’s pot of ÂŁ47.5m.

As with all Grand Slams, the women and men take home equal pay, and for two lucky winners, that will be some fee.

That is because the winner’s share has increased by 9.8 per cent, working out as ÂŁ2.43m each.

This was ÂŁ2.1m last year, so it’s a marked increase.
