Brooks Koepka is loving life back on the PGA Tour and he’s hoping a putter change can help him return to the winner’s circle this week.
Koepka said recently that he has ‘fallen back in love’ with the game following his exit from LIV Golf.
He has been playing better in recent weeks, especially off the tee and with his irons.

But his putting so far has held him back from truly competing again for victory, and he has switched up his flat stick for the The CJ CUP Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch this week.
Koepka is currently 141st in strokes gained putting from the 161 players on the PGA Tour.
Following extensive testing at his personal ‘putting warehouse’, the five-time major champion has put a Scotty Cameron Fastback 1.5 putter in his bag to try and turn his stats around.
He said: “I have a little warehouse at home and there’s a putting studio in there.
“So I was in there, I dropped my son off at school and I was in there until I had to pick him up so was in there for quite a while.
“I was trying some different putters, just going back to basics.
“Trying to make sure everything is lined up, the grip is correct, where the putter is aimed is where you think it’s aiming, just little things.
“I’ve switched putters again this week for something I feel like it just releases on it own, something I’ve been fighting a little bit.”
Koepka and club manufacturer Srixon mutually agreed to end their endorsement partnership last month.
He added: “I know I keep changing the putter every week at the moment but as far as the rest of the equipment I have, I’m very satisfied with it, I’m very pleased with it.
“Maybe during the off-season I start doing some testing.”
Koepka had to settle for T55 at the PGA Championship last weekend after a poor Sunday.
But he played well over the first three days at Aronimink and has been rewarded with a marquee group for the Byron Nelson.
Koepka will play the opening two days in Texas alongside defending champion Scottie Scheffler and the in-form Si Woo Kim.
He added: “With both those guys living in Dallas and Scottie being the best player in the world, you expect a lot of fans and a lot of people cheering for him.
“It’ll be fun and exciting and I guess a good measuring stick to figure out where I’m at.
“I’m excited about it and we’ll see how things shake out.”
