Itâs been a tough week for WWE star Seth Rollins.
Rollins, who is also a huge Chicago Bears fan, appeared on Good Morning Football on Thursday morning ahead of the 2028 NFL Draft, and just days after taking on Gunther at WrestleMania 42.
Rollins would lose his match against âThe Ring Generalâ after interference from Bronn Breakker at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, home of the Raiders.
On Monday Night Raw, he was speared once again by Breakker, and wasnât in the best of moods when he appeared on Good Morning Football.
The tense altercation began when NFL Network host Kyle Brandt began to needle Rollins about which is more difficult, âPerforming at 39, or playing in the NFL at 42 years old.â
Rollins chose to participate in the WWE at 39-years-old and explained his decision to Brandt, clearly frustrated at the question.
âYou say itâs not personal, but itâs starting to feel a bit personal to be honest with you,â Rollins said.
âThe bottom line is that wrestling at WrestleMania is more difficult than playing in the NFL at 42, especially if we are talking about Aaron Rodgers at the quarterback position.
âThese guys donât get hit. Theyâre protected. They donât get hit. They go down when they want. WrestleManiaâs not like that.â
Rollins is no stranger to an appearance on Good Morning Football, regularly providing insight and fan perspective to the Bears, but he inferred Brandtâs question as an attack on his profession, and frustrations continued to grow.
âI donât really appreciate this,â Rollins added.
âI donât have to do this. I donât have to be on your show. I do want to be here, but not when I am treated like this. I donât have to do this.
âYou want to steal every segment? You want to steal all the show, thatâs your thing.â
Tensions boiled over after Brandt mentioned Rollinsâ wife, Becky Lynch, in a direct dig at the WWE superstar.
âMaybe we can get Becky to come in and actually win something for us, thatâs how it works for you guys so maybe she could do a segment.â
While Rollins tasted defeat over the weekend, his other half reclaimed the womenâs Intercontinental championship with a win over AJ Lee, while Rollins tasted defeat.
After this jab, Rollins removed his earpiece and told the presenter he was leaving, before Brandt fired one last jab at him, saying âthis is going worse than you and Paul Heyman.â

Later in the segment, Brandt said he followed Rollins off set and into the parking lot but said Rollins had disappeared and did not answer his texts and calls.
Whether it was a ‘bit’ or not remains to be determined. Rollins is a performer by trade after all.
On Friday morning, Brandt posted a picture with his arm around Rollins smiling, leaning some to believe that it was a fake exchange.
But for others, the consistent jabs and his wife’s involvement make them believe it wasn’t.
Nobody will know, except for Rollins and Brandt.
