Kim Kardashian may have stolen the show at the Monaco Grand Prix – but little did she know she would be rubbing shoulders with Alan Pardew.
The American celebrity was a high-profile attendee at Formula 1’s glamour event last week to cheer on new partner Lewis Hamilton.
Unsurprisingly, security was watching over the billionaire like a hawk as she made her way through the paddock.
British TV presenter Holly Willoughby and comedian Michael McIntyre were unlucky victims in being shoved out of the way.
While Kardashian also frustrated F1 icon Martin Brundle by refusing a pre-race interview.
But she was all smiles later on as Hamilton finished second on the podium – two weeks on from his his runners-up spot in Canada.
And the seven-time world champion went one better on Sunday, as he secured his first win as a Ferrari driver by coming home in first place at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix.
His victory secured Ferrari’s first Grand Prix triumph since Mexico in October 2024, while he ended his 686-day wait for a first main race win since his Belgian GP success in July 2024.
Hamilton’s win in Spain also marked the first time a British driver has won a Grand Prix for the Scuderia since Eddie Irvine at Malaysia in 1999.
Speaking on the World Cup Weekender, former Newcastle manager Pardew was quick to comment on Hamilton’s impressive form in 2026.
Following Kimi Antonelli’s late retirement, Hamilton – up to second in the Drivers’ Championship standings – now trails the Italian by just 41 points.
Discussing the British legend, ex-Crystal Palace boss Pardew said: “See, this is what happens when you get a new girlfriend!
“He’s obviously got a little spur in him.”
Pardew then proceeded to reel off an incredible story during his recent attendance at the Monaco GP – which saw him come into close contact with Kardashian.
The former Charlton midfielder remarked: “And how about me at Monaco? How about this?
“So the security guard is having a pop at me, trying to say to me, you know, the usual, ‘Not there, not there sir, no, no.’
“And I could see her [Kardashian] walking towards me, and I was just like, ‘Look, I’m just standing out of the way because she’s coming through with her entourage.’
“No, they weren’t having it, so he pushed me, literally, straight into Kim.
“There I was next to her, walking alongside her like her sugar daddy… for a period… about a second.”
Through laughter, co-host Majestic then asked: “Did you get papped?”
To which Pardew admitted to his annoyance, he has no photos of the special moment.
He stated: “Did I? No, I didn’t get papped.
“But it was all there, I was hoping someone was going to take a picture, but they didn’t.”
Hamilton will now turn his attention to the Austrian GP on June 28 – a race he last won in 2016.
