Bet of the Day
Morocco to beat Brazil @ 17/4
There could be a major shock on the cards when Brazil and Morocco go head-to-head at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Brazil have a rich World Cup history, but the Selecao were poor in qualifying and there are no guarantees of a turnaround.
Carlo Ancelotti is at the helm, but their numbers weren’t fantastic in four matches with the former Real Madrid boss in the dugout. And they created a total expected goals figure of only 5.4 in games against Ecuador, Paraguay, Chile and Bolivia.
Brazil have a weakness in central midfield, with Bruno Guimaraes and Casemiro lacking control and mobility and there are also concerns in the full-back area.
Morocco were crowned champions of Africa earlier this year and, while that came in controversial circumstances, it is still clear that the Atlas Lions are an extremely strong team.
Mohamed Ouahbi’s men have quality all over the pitch, with Achraf Hakimi at full-back, Sofyan Amrabat in midfield and Brahim Diaz in attack.
Allowing for the overturned Africa Cup of Nations final loss to Senegal, Morocco are unbeaten in their last 29 matches and this is a team full of confidence and belief.
At 17/4, the Atlas Lions rate a great bet to upset Brazil in New Jersey.

Switzerland to win, Switzerland to score over 2.5 goals, Breel Embolo to score bet builder v Qatar @ 9/5
Switzerland look capable of being lively outsiders in North America and the A-Team should make light work of a poor Qatar team in Santa Clara.
Murat Yakin’s men are led by the experienced and impressive Granit Xhaka, while Johan Manzambi is a talented youngster alongside the Sunderland midfielder.
Manuel Akanji is a class operator at the back and Breel Embolo brings the goals in attack.
Qatar do not have the quality to deal with the Swiss and this is a low-level outfit that have won only one of their last 11 matches.
A Switzerland victory, which involves Embolo finding the net and the A-Team scoring at least three goals, pays 9/5 in a bet builder.
Acca
Morocco, Switzerland, Scotland treble @ 17/2
Brazil were poor in qualifying and, while Ancelotti is now at the helm, there haven’t been too many signs that the Selecao are ready to burst into life. Either way, Morocco are a talented and disciplined side and there could be an upset in New Jersey.
Switzerland have lost only one of their last 14 matches, a 4-3 friendly defeat to a top-level Germany side, and the A-Team are miles ahead of a poor Qatar outfit that have lost to Lebanon and Zimbabwe on a recent poor run.
Scotland look to have a shot of winning or certainly qualifying from an open group and the Tartan Army should beat Haiti in Massachusetts.
Haiti have real issues dealing with set-plays, they conceded from two corners when losing 2-1 to Peru last time out, so Scotland can capitalise.
