Hansi Flick has told his Barcelona bosses to pull out all the stops to keep Marcus Rashford at the Camp Nou.
Rashford made history at the weekend by becoming the first Englishman in four decades to become a LaLiga champion.
The England international marked the occasion in style by scoring a super free–kick, his 14th goal since joining the Spanish giants last summer.
Rashford is keen to stay at the Nou Camp, with his loan deal including a €30million (£26m) buy option, but Barcelona are reluctant to pay that in full which has left Manchester United officials deeply frustrated.
While sources have told talkSPORT that Rashford has no future at Old Trafford, the Red Devils do not want to be low-balled into selling him on the cheap.
Flick has made it clear to the Barca hierarchy he wants Rashford to stay.
However, the deal is further complicated by the fact he will receive a pay rise to his United salary for the Red Devils qualifying for the Champions League, as we revealed last week.
Arsenal and United must wait for Kroupi battle
Bournemouth are determined to resist any attempts to prise teenage sensation Eli Junior Kroupi away from the Vitality Stadium this summer.
As reported previously in this notebook, Arsenal are among a number of clubs tracking the free-scoring 19-year-old.
Kroupi is also understood to have caught the eye of Manchester United after bagging 12 Premier League goals this season.
But, with no release clause in his contract, the Cherries are intent on keeping hold of the Frenchman for at least one more season.
Kroupi is set to be offered a new deal with an increased salary along with England international Alex Scott, who is also attracting interest from elsewhere.
Top clubs queue up for Championship teen
Leicester starlet Jeremy Monga is wanted by as many as TEN top clubs in the Premier League and beyond.
Monga has been one of the few bright spots in a miserable two-year period that has seen them plummet from the top-flight to the third tier.
Now the vultures are circling around the 16-year-old academy product, believing they can snare him for a bargain fee.
Manchester United are believed to have held formal talks with the Foxes, while Arsenal, Newcastle and Leeds are all admirers.
Monga, who played 37 Championship games this season, is also on the radar of German duo Bayer Leverkusen and Leipzig as well as Roma.
Fulham’s desperate bid to keep boss
Marco Silva has been offered a double-your-money £8m-a-year to stay at Fulham.
The Cottagers want Silva to commit to a new three-year contract, but he is holding off on deciding his future until the end of the season.
The 48-year-old Portuguese is on Chelsea’s list of potential Liam Rosenior replacements, although Xabi Alonso is the favourite for that job.
Benfica are also eyeing Silva in preparation for Jose Mourinho returning to Real Madrid.
As well as the mega pay rise, Fulham have also promised Silva greater control over transfers in a bid to convince him to re-sign at Craven Cottage.
